After years of research, I have finally created an automaton capable of mimicking human movement.
Its body is forged from steel instead of flesh, and its actions are guided by commands rather than free will. It can greet strangers, sweep the streets, and carry out duties too perilous for any human.
I do not see it as humanity's successor, but as its companion.
One day, Mechanicus may transport goods through the night as everyone sleeps, delve into airless mines in search of ore, and even save travelers stranded on frozen mountain peaks.
In the wrong hands, however, it could become an instrument of unimaginable suffering.
If possible, I would like to establish at least a basic framework that would allow it to judge right from wrong for itself. But who can define what is right and what is wrong?
