Skyroot Research
Skyroot wasn't the subject of research from the beginning.
The effects of this vine-growing plant were largely unknown.
It was simply boiled in water and consumed by a few people who enjoyed its bitter taste.
It was because of a sick cat in the village that more was learned about this plant.
One day, the calico cat in the center of the village caught what was thought to be pneumonia, and no medicine could cure it.
The cat only started to show signs of improvement after drinking some leftover brewed skyroot water.
Shortly after drinking all of that water, the cat recovered,
and from then on, the shais started to research the effects of skyroot.
