My prior approach—the attempt to imitate organic Creatures—was foolish. A body formed from mere flesh is frail and unstable, whereas a mechanical frame cast in steel boasts an immutable perfection. The obsolete blueprint of the Clockwork Mantis is hereby discarded, and redesign commences.
The tension of the joint components shall be increased to its maximum threshold, modified to permit powerful Unarmed Combat strikes. A fundamental reassessment of the power source is required. The consideration of solar energy was a grievous error; nothing can be achieved with such crude output.
On the day this sequence of evolution concludes, my creation will demonstrate overwhelming force not only across various industrial sites, but upon the battlefield as well.
