An elegantly dressed insect, gliding gracefully in the air. The dorsal side of the male's wings has a deep indigo blue base with a black border, and the outer edge of the forewings has a row of orange spots. The hindwings have two distinct eye-shaped spots. The female has a stronger overall brown tone and less blue.
