An elegantly dressed insect, gliding gracefully in the air. Its wings predominantly have a dark black-brown base, with a wide green band stretching across the forewings and hindwings. This green band shifts to blue depending on the angle of light and gives off a metallic luster. Short tail-like protrusions are found at the tips.
